For his third birthday on December 11th his
family gathered at his bulldozer themed party and Sam got the surprise of his
life. His grandparents gave him a kid
sized bulldozer that he could actually drive around.
His mother said he was so excited that he asked for another
one again at Christmas!
Sam has put his bulldozer to great use.
When there is snow or ice Sam gets right to work and jumps
in his bulldozer to plow the driveway and his 4 year old sister follows behind.
The neighbors began getting such a kick out of Sam and his
bulldozer that they began asking him to “plow” their driveways too!
He is more than happy to help out, but there is one
important rule. You must call him Peter Parker
because Sam is convinced, he’s Spider Man now.
I love stories like this.
Kids are unstoppable and have such big hearts and dreams.
When I wrote “Trini Bee” it was for kids just like Sam
Curry. I wanted them to have stories to
remind them that just because they are little they can still do so many great
big things.
It’s amazing what a kid can do when they know that you
believe in them!
I hope you all are staying safe and warm and that you always
remember that I believe in you!
